Mathieu Dekeukeleire & Jackie Klaster
After meeting in the Austrian mountains, where we both worked as ski instructors, our search began for a place to live that we both fell in love with. After wanderings through the Ardennes and Utrecht, this led us to the Bierinkstraat in Ronse after 8 years. A place where we are in between the hills and nature and yet also on the edge of the bustling town of Ronse. We can fill our sporting hearts here with beautiful cycling, walking and mountain bike routes. With a view over both the Flemish Ardennes and Pays des Collines. The intersection of different languages, close enough to all amenities, but far enough away to experience peace and tranquility.
About the house
We like to share the place we fell in love with. The holiday home functioned as an architectural firm, but was not in use for 40 years. A 2.5-year renovation process has led to the current holiday home. We would like to show some images of the process below.
